The Daily City's Mobile Art Show

Last Thursday we participated in The Daily City's Mobile Art Show. One of our favorites, Mark Baratelli (owner of The Daily City.com) produces a monthly art show out of a U-Haul at the corner of Orange and Pine in downtown Orlando. Guests are welcome to walk on in and enjoy the local talent featured within the truck. The truck is strategically parked opposite of The City Arts Factory which participates in the 3rd Thursday Gallery Hop. It's always a fun nite to soak in some amazing sights and sounds of our little city.

The featured artist for this month's Mobile Art Show was the lovely and talented Betsy Dye. She is famous in these parts for her adorableness and whimsical creativity. I adore her hand sewn owls and rabbits. So cute.

We were of course delighted to share some treats with the happy viewers. Can't wait until next month!

Hello dearest of friends!
Happy summer time to you all! I'm sorry we have been missing in action for quite some time. I pinky promise to be much more diligent and share our exciting news of all things sweet!

First off, I'm excited to say that we have found a lovely home on Thursday nites at The College Park Farmer's Market located in the Infusion Tea parking lot from 5-9pm. The market is a wonderful place to shop all things local. Offering a variety of goodies from fresh produce to artisan cheese to grass fed beef, we love being a part of a market that wants to share only the finer things locals can indulge in. Some of our favorite vendors to be enjoyed include Wild Ocean Seafood, Big Wheel Provisions, and The Family Garden.

Infusion Tea is a quaint little tea house that offers a wide assortment of delicious teas and vegetarian fare. I must recommend the Pineapple Bliss green tea over ice. It is the perfect amount of sweet and fruitiness to indulge in during these sweltering summer months!

Tonite, 7/8 we will be sharing:

Lemon Blueberry Cheesecakes
Cookies and Cream Cheesecakes
Chocolate and Dark Chocolate Mint truffles
Chocolate Covered Marshmallows Dipped in Chocolate
Cherry Muffins
Vanilla Cupcakes with Blackberry Frosting.

Audubon Park Community Market! 6.24.10

Happy Monday to you!

We are looking forward to a wonderful week ahead! It is filled with cupcakes, great musical events, and ending with a "Girls Only" roadtrip to Atlanta! We will be celebrating the birth of our dear friend, Jaime. We promise to share some of the pictures taken to document our memories and all of the food we partake in!

But thinking of today, we will be at the Audubon Market this evening from 6pm until 10pm. We are pleasantly happy to share that we have decided to name our little confections. After all, we hold them near and dear to us! Have a peek at some of the new names we've created and what will be available at tonite's market!

Everyday is like Sundae

Chocolate cupcake filled with Nutella. Topped with whipped cream, nuts, and maraschino cherry.

Cupcake filled with the sweetness of Orange Blossom Honey and fresh orange juice. Topped with orange cream cheese frosting.

Say Blueberry Cheesecake!

Shortbread crust topped with blueberry creamy cheese amazingness.

Cheeky Monkey

Peanut butter cupcake mixed with fresh bananas. Topped with dark chocolate glaze.

oh, SNAP.

Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend thus far! The Bees have been busy in the kitchen making treats for you sweet people!!
We were honored to take part in this weekend's Snap! Orlando's festivities. Snap! Orlando is a program focused to raise awareness and appreciation of photography within the Orlando community and beyond. We shared our confections at the opening exhibit at the Church Street Exchange. What a breathtaking event it was and to be in the presence of such amazing photographers was truly touching. I have to say, I was especially moved by Douglas Kirkland's exhibit. He is a world renowned artist that has captured iconic figures throughout the years. His repertoire of subjects include the stunning Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn (featured above). Delightful!
